Follow the pitches near you
The map shows all 13,370 football pitches OpenStreetMap knows in the Netherlands, from artificial grass to the patch of grass round the corner. Add the pitches where you play to your favourites.

Play now or later? Choose the number of players and say whether you're bringing a ball. Everyone who follows the pitch gets a notification straight away.
Make plans in the lobby
Players join the lobby and make plans in the group chat. Tap Directions and you're on the pitch in no time.

See who's bringing a ball, so ten of you aren't standing there without one.
Plan ahead
Saturday at five? Plan a TeamUp and others can join in advance. Everyone gets a reminder an hour before.
At your level
Beginner, average or keen: choose which level a TeamUp is for.
Who is it for?
A TeamUp is for everyone, women only or men only.
Quiet when you can't play
Tell the app when you can't play. You won't get notifications at those times.
Follow players
Follow the people you like playing with and hear when they start a TeamUp. After the game, give them an honour.
Report and block
Someone misbehaving? Report or block that player with one tap. Reports are anonymous.

You don't have to share your location. Want to hear when a TeamUp starts within 2 km? Turn on TeamUps nearby.
13,370 football pitches on the map
Every football pitch in OpenStreetMap is on it, in all twelve provinces: the artificial pitch at school, the cage in the neighbourhood and the pitch in the park.
Questions about TeamUpNL
- What does TeamUpNL cost?
- Nothing, the app is free.
- When is the app coming out?
- TeamUpNL is nearly finished and is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. If you're on the waitlist, you'll be the first to know.
- Where does TeamUpNL work?
- All over the Netherlands: all 13,370 football pitches from OpenStreetMap are on the map. TeamUpNL comes from Groningen.
- Won't I get too many notifications?
- No. You only hear about new TeamUps from pitches and players you follow (and TeamUps within 2 km, if you turn that on), and not at times you've said you can't play. In Profile → Notifications you choose which notifications you want. Each player can start at most six TeamUps a day.
- Do I have to share my location?
- No. The map can use your location to open near you; it stays on your phone. Only if you turn on TeamUps nearby do we get your location, rounded to about a kilometre, so you hear when a TeamUp starts within 2 km.
- Is it only for football?
- Yes, for now TeamUpNL is only for football.
- How old do I have to be?
- 16 or older. You confirm this when you create your account.
- What do you do with my email address?
- We only use it to let you know the app is out. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.
